House Keeping Notes

House Keeping Notes
-
This year we
may have 10+ participants. It is imperative that when we get to a
location that you move quickly to get your camera equipment out and be
ready to shoot. We are on a tight time frame to get to all the
locations per session.
-
If you are
using a tripod, do you really need to fold it up? If not, leave it
fully or partly extended.
-
If you know
ahead of time, you will not be able to make one of the sessions,
please let Bob S know, so we will not be waiting on you. If something
happens the day before or the day of the shoot, please call Bob S at
(864) -430-0119 (c) and leave a message.
-
If you drive
to a location, we want everyone photographing together. So if you get
there before one of the Instructors, just wait on us.
-
Some
locations, there maybe limited parking, so we may have to car pool.
-
Something I always mention in my photo workshops is if you are
thinking about buying any new equipment (Camera, Tripod, etc) Look at
what others are using and ask questions
-
We
have a large variety of skills sets with in this class, so when we
come around and ask if you need any help, if you are a experience
photographer and don’t need any, just say I am fine or something like
that.
-
We definitely do not want to bug you.
-
For you new photographers, if you need help, please ask for it
while we are in the field. That is what we are there for.
-
If
by chance it rains on one of our photo shoots, we will meet here in
the Herring Center and have an indoor Macro Shoot
· Student
Photos
-
We would like for each student to turn in one from each week to Bob
Buurman
-
Please do this on our last class (Week 5).
-
Format them to 2048 pixels on the long side
-
Turn them in on a CLEAN Flash Drive
-
Clean means that there will be
nothing else on the drive
-
Bob Buurman will lead the discussion on each slide and we all will
give a short critique
If for some reason you can not submit your photos
on a flash drive, bring your camera with the card still in it and we
will try to download the photos for you.
-
If you are using a phone camera, bring any cables you have that you
use with your phone.
