            | | Pearson Falls is a gorgeous 90-ft
waterfall that cascades down a 30 - 40 wide staircase of rock.
 |
            | | As you walk to the falls (1/4
mile easy walk), you can photograph the creek (Colt Creek) along the
ways.  When you get to an area called Mini-Falls, (also known
as Lightener's Ledge) you can photo it with Pearson Falls in the
            background.

            | | The path will provide many
opportunities to photograph rare wildflowers to mosses, ferns,
lichens, shrubs and trees,  Most of the wild flowers start to
bloom in mid-March to early May. |

            | | Use GPS or a mapping program to
            get to the Falls
 |
            | | The trail to the falls is about
1/4 mile or 20 minutes.  Not a hard hike in.
 |
            | | The trail is developed, with
steps and fences, as it leads up the creek to the base of the falls.
Large trees grace the slopes along the stream in this lush, mixed
hardwood forest. Many species of ferns and wildflowers grow beside
the trail. There is a gentle climb along the trail's whole length,
though it is never steep. Watch for occasional loose rocks, roots,
            and wet areas.
